Artist's Comments

Taken on a small photo tour with a friend of mine.
My EOS-chan lost her energy so I took this one with my S50, and this camera surprised me once again.

Location: close to Obsteig, Mieminger Plateau, Tyrol

Sorry for the bit larger file-size.

Nice nature shot, great intensiv tones, and a really "summerlike" atmosphere:-)

Common sense is not so common.

I really like the trees, and especially the intense green, but I think the sun shines too strong, it makes the trees look like very thin skeletons, which ruins the rich atmosphere. And is that a mowed lawn in the background? Makes it look less wild. Overall, it's a good picture :) Looks like a really comfortable place to sit and just think.

the lawn in the back actually IS mawned, but not freshly... should be around some weeks ago =P

you have good eyes and thanks for your thorough critics...

Well, I guess there's nothing you can do about the weather. But you could have chosen a different angle, so that you hadn't pointed your camera at the sun, but maybe something less beautiful would have gotten in the picture if you had chosen a different angle. I don't know, I haven't been where you took the picture. As for the lawn, if you had positioned the camera lower, maybe it wouldn't have been in the picture? But that might have it's penalties as well. But it's still a good picture :)
